Want to know how our London massage service can lower your blood pressure?  Well it’s not that complicated to tell the truth.  They call hypertension (high blood pressure) the silent killer, and this is no laughing matter; it really is.  There are usually little to no symptoms at all, and the only way to make sure you don’t suffer with it is to get yours checked.

Whether you check or not, massage is very useful at helping you maintain a healthy blood pressure.  It has been proven that regular massage not only improves blood circulation, but it also lowers stress hormones in the body.  Hormones like cortisol and epinephrine are released into the blood stream during periods of stress and high anxiety.  As you know, some people get more stressed than others, so the level at which these hormones become dangerous varies considerably; depending on who you are.  If you are already predisposed to hypertension because of other factors (some I’ve listed below) then you are at increased risk of heart attack and stroke.

  • Smoking
  • High alcohol consumption
  • Being overweight
  • Lack of exercise
